To run in the
National Championship stakes, your dog must have placed in a gun
dog stake at an AKC Field Trial. You dog must also be listed on
AKC’s DNA data base. So you will need to go to AKC.org and
order a swab to get your dog DNA.d. This will take six to eight
weeks to get the results from AKC so do it now as sometimes the
DNA has to be resubmitted.

micro chipped. The dog will be scanned before running in the
National event.
