My name is Judi Hunter. How old are your puppies? I think the pot belly look will go away as they grow. I recently had a litter and they ate so fast their stomaches got the pot belly look.
Puppy food is a personal preference. I used Health Extension, Salmon & Sweet Potato Recipe .
My choice of wormer was Pyrantel which is what my repo vet recommended. I’m not familiar with Durvet.
I did something different with my litter for the first time on the advice of another breeder. I used a litter box with pellets. I always used wee wee pads before but the pups got to a certain age and shredded them making them useless. I used the bottom half of a molded crate to contain the pellets. I had seven pups in one ex-pen but added three additional panels for the litter box. They had plenty of room to romp when inside. But they also had a large puppy play yard outside where they spent a lot of time running and playing. We put a shelter all over it so it was covered. Most of our day was spent outside with the pups. The plus is they were well on their way to being potty trained by the time they went to their new homes.
