  • Group rates are subject to applicable state and local occupancy taxes in effect at the time of check-out. 
  • Book on or before Sunday, September 01, 2024, to receive our special rate. All bookings after the cut-off are subject to availability and current hotel room rates.
  • A pet deposit of $35 will be charged for each room in which a dog is housed per stay.
  • ESAA will provide sheets of plastic to place under crates. Up to 4 dogs will be permitted per room.
  • All dogs left unattended in hotel guest rooms must be crated.
  • Housekeepers will not have to service rooms in which dogs are loose and unattended. Moreover, they will be required to report this rule violation to hotel management. Individual room occupants will be assessed for any damage or destruction to their room.
  • ESAA will have a liaison to meet daily with the Head of Housekeeping and hotel management to assure that all of its members are complying with hotel rules. Any offenders will be asked to leave the hotel immediately.
  • Dogs will not be permitted in any of the hotel recreation areas, including the swimming pools, and any other areas to be stipulated as “non-dog” locations.
  • Dogs will not be permitted in food and beverage outlets, with the exception of those assisting the disabled.
  • The hotel will provide trash receptacles in the designated exercise areas for deposit of waste. ESAA will provide plastic bags and/or appropriate scoops and owner/handlers are responsible for the pickup and removal of pet waste.
  • Check-in time is 3 pm and check out is 12 pm.

Invitations were mailed April 25th, so watch mail closely! We will also be sending an email summarizing everything. We use the first owner’s information from ESAA or other sources, but if you have questions about your invite please let us know!

Health Clinic

The 2024 Health Clinic will be on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 8:00am-2:00pm at the host hotel. As in the past ESAA will be contributing funds towards screening to keep costs low for members. This year we will be offering AKC/DNA screening, and AKC Reunite ISO microchips. We will also offer Thyroid Panels submitted to Michigan State University, OFA, CHIC, and DNA Repository. Appointments and payment must be made in advance of the clinic.

REGISTRATION CLOSES: Wednesday, September 4, 2024. – Additions after the close of registration is on a space available basis and clinic time will not be extended. PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT.

ShowDogVideoPros

The professional video services and live streaming at this show are governed by an exclusive video contract with the Club. No other commercial video recording, video recording from a tripod, monopod or other supported camera/device, or any video recording or streaming of large parts or whole classes shall be permitted. The contract terms permit individuals to record small bits of video of their own dogs only, and using handheld devices only (e.g. Phone, tablet or small camcorder). Individuals may post recorded videos of their own dogs to social media (Facebook, YouTube, etc.). However, during show hours LIVE Broadcast Streaming to social media (e.g., Facebook Live) is not permitted. Submission of an entry form and/or physical presence on the show grounds shall constitute both implied and real consent for both the handler and the dog to be professionally video recorded and streamed live only by the professional video services as contracted by the Club for this show.

RV PARKING RULES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS – PLEASE REVIEW CAREFULLY

All applications are to be made by using the form BELOW and returning it to kwoods@columbushospitality.com.

The Roberts Centre has 26 RV Spots that are Full Hook-ups, and at a rate of $40 per night / all other parking is considered dry parking at a rate of $25 per night. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER FOR RV PARKING. RV availability is on a first come first serve basis.

PAYMENT – All checks must be payable to The Roberts Centre. You may also pay by credit card. Payment in full is required when reservation is made. Paid reservations must be received no later than two weeks before the event that you will be attending. No refunds will be issued after this date. All RV parking is on a pre-paid reservation basis.


Versatility Showcase

Versatility Showcase

To recognize and honor those who have earnedVersatile English Setter (VES) titles by successfully competing in at least three different venues with their English Setters. The handlers and their dogs will enter the ring with the dogs on leash, their names and a short biography will be read. They will be presented with a rosette inscribed with the dog’s name and titles earned. Only dogs and handlers present at the National will participate in the Showcase. If you have earned one or more VES titles, will attend the National with your VES dog, and want to participate, fill out the application below and send to the VES tabulator Sue Johnson, birchrun5@aol.com. 

To be eligible to enter the 2024 ESAA National Versatility Showcase on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, the first Versatility title must be earned and awarded by July 31, 2024.

Applications and fees ($28 for each inscribed rosette) are due by:

There is no better way to reach a national English Setter Audience than to advertise in the National Specialty Catalog.

These Catalogs are kept for reference FOREVER!

ADVERTISING IN THE NATIONAL CATALOG IS AS EASY AS 1-2-3:

  1. Create your ad and save it as jpeg or high-resolution PDF (ESAA will not be providing ad set-up this year. Below are names of people that can assist with your ad design. Contact them for information and fees).
  2. EMAIL ALL ADS TO: Liz Alakszay cyber2dogs@gmail.com
  3. Pay for your ad on 2024 National website CATALOG ADVERTISING PAGE via the order form below.

ADVERTISING SPECIFICATIONS (all ads are full bleed, full color):

  • Finished full bleed page size is 5.75″W X 8.75″H (Keep all pictures and type within the live area of 4.75″Wx 7.75″H)
  • Acceptable formats are PDF or JPEG
  • Ads should be set at 300 dpi and CMYK 

(Ads sent in RGB will be returned for conversion)
