      Linda,

      Sometimes bitches can have a false pregnancy and have all the signs of being pregnant.  How far along is she now?  Have you taken her temperature?  Are you noticing any discharge at all?  I have had both pregnant and non-pregnant bitches that have acted like you are describing.  If she is running a temperature, I would be concerned about a pyometra which would need to be treated ASAP.  Do you have a good reproduction veterinarian that you can go to.  An ultrasound would confirm this.  Pyometra can be treated medically without having to spay them.  Keep me posted.

        At our hospital we recommend breeding on the 3rd day after ovulation.
